Congratulations to Dr. Morgane de Robichon, prizewinner of the Ile-de-France section of the French Chemical Society.

The entire BioCIS laboratory team congratulates its former student Morgane de Robichon for obtaining the thesis prize from the Ile-de-France section of the SCF.
Morgane defended her doctoral thesis on access to C-glycosides by metal-catalyzed C-H functionalization of the anomeric position oriented by a directing group on October 28, 2021. After 3 years of research under the supervision of Dr. Angélique Ferry and Dr. Jacques Uziel at CY Cergy Paris University, Morgane joined the group of Prof. Thorsten Bach in Munich where she works on the total synthesis of natural products by photochemistry.
Morgane's thesis work was rewarded by the French Glycosciences Group in early June 2022.
Today, the Ile-de-France section of the French Chemical Society is honoring Morgane with its 2022 thesis prize.
Dr. de Robichon had the opportunity to present her thesis work at the Young Talents in Chemistry Day 2022, on October 21, 2022 at Sorbonne University.
