Equipements BioCIS CY - Cell Culture

BioCIS operates a BSL-2 mammalian cell culture lab in collaboration with the Cosmetomics platform. The lab is fully equipped for 2D cell culture. We cultivate human myeloma cell lines and hepatocytes, among others.

• Controlled cell growth (set temperature and CO₂)

• Sterilization by pyrolysis

• AI-assisted automated cell counting and differentiation
• Brightfield (extendable to fluorescence)

• Brightfield, 10x, 20x, 40x amplification
• Fluorescence modules and CCD camera available

• Kendro / Heraeus Megafuge 1.0R
• Rotor for 15 mL, 50 mL falcons and 96well or 2 mL DWP plates.

• Safe handling of toxic or bioactive compounds for testing
• Secure environment for chemical biology / medicinal chemistry

The lab is equipped with fridge, freezer, shakers, water bath, autoclaves and other small equipment needed for cell culture. An entry sash and controlled CVC ensures a contamination-free environment.

We have established strong partnerships with other research facilities for high-end technologies, including flow cytometry (Institut Galien Paris-Saclay), fluorescence microscopy and AFM (CY Microscopies), proteomics (Pasteur Proteomics Platform) and preclinical drug discovery services (IPSIT – Paris-Saclay Institute for Therapeutic Innovation).

This lab is funded through Région Ile-de-France, CY Initiative, CY Transfer, Aviesan-Inserm (ITMO Cancer PCSI) and Agence Nationale de la Recherche (ANR). It is accessible to external users, through this contact formular.
